Add a player note

A note is something that is more specific to an individual player. You might capture things that he has said in the chat window. For example suppose he has mentions that he supports a particular football team. Could you use that information in a few weeks time when that team has a spectacular win on a Saturday evening? Perhaps he would be less inclined to steal your blinds.

Clicking the "Notes” button will show the following window.

The top half of the screen will show any existing notes that you have on the player. The lower part of the screen allows you to enter more notes. In the following screen I have entered a new note.

Then press the "OK” button.

You’ll see that the text of the "Note” button is green, indicating that it contains information.

Hovering over the "Note” button will give you the quick pop up as shown below;

You’ll see that the note has a date when you added the note. This will help you detect if someone has started to improve their game.

You can add as many notes as you want to a player. Press the "Note” button again and you’ll see your first note in the top part of the screen as shown below.

Now add another note.

Press OK and hover over the "Note” button.

Making a note such as "He’s a twit”, may make you feel good, but it’s not much use to you in 3 months time. It does not very accurately describe the way he plays. So try and make notes that will really give you some useful information in a few months time.

Editing an existing note

You can edit existing notes in the following way. You may need to do this if you have made a spelling mistake or want to enhance the note based on further information that you have learnt about the player.

The above screen shows the two notes that we have made about this player. Click the Edit button at the left of the row that contains the note that you want to edit. This will show the following screen, where you can edit the note and then press the OK button.

Removing an existing note.

You may need to remove an existing note for example if you have assigned it to the wrong player. Press the Note button on the small player window to display the following screen:

Then press the Edit button to display the following.

The above will show any notes that are assigned to player. At the left of each row you will see a button named "Remove", press this to remove the selected note. The following window will be displayed asking if you definitely want to remove the note.
